A message from our Group Scout Leader:
Hi Folks, as of 28th January 2022, Scouts Cymru announced that nationally Scouting has returned to Green Covid response status. This is based on guidance issued by the Welsh Government.
The group will resume activities underpinned by the revised Green Risk assessment and approach and I doubt you will see much difference however it does remove many restrictions placed upon us and allows us to resume residential (camping) activities.
A revised Covid Risk Assessment is in place for all activities at 1st Mynydd Isa and is available upon request.
Please keep their essential information up to date by checking and confirming the emergency contact details and key health information we hold on OSM each time a link is sent out. Review, amend if required and confirm online that the information is correct. Online Scout Manager is our key point of emergency contact essential for running Scouts. Please ensure you have access to OSM and ask a leader if you need help.
Follow the links for more information about the Scout UK and Scout Cymru approach to Covid-19 and the return to face-to-face Scouting.
Here is our Green Status parent pack to let you know what it means.

Arrival and collection.
Please make yourselves aware of the time allocated for your child’s group activity. Any changes will be via OSM, email notification and on the Facebook page in advance. The car park can be very busy so give yourself plenty of time to drop your child off.
On arrival at HQ, please do not leave until a Leader has acknowledged your child’s arrival. Scouts and Explorers can arrive independently.
Anyone arriving at the HQ building, including outdoor areas, we encourage everyone to sanitise their hands on entry.
